Sunday Stealing: The First 2011 Alphabet Meme
Scroll down for Our Weekend Memoirs

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger named Neil Turner at the blog Neil Turner from the blog Neil Turner's Blog (duh). Neil is from Yorkshire, England. He said he stole it from Troy. But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time.

Cheers to all of us thieves!

Our Weekend Memoirs: Chatuchak Park

One Sunday last month broke out cloudy. We were at the park for a friend who was honing his SLR skills. The following photos though are from a point and shoot pink Samsung.

The willing, happy subjects

It says "Calabash Tree"

Hours in, the sun started showing up at last. And so did some spirit.

Taxes are high. We might as well enjoy expat life to the max.

They're just breasts

What is it about men and nudity? Particularly breasts... How can you be so interested in them? I mean seriously: they're just breasts. Every second person has them. They're odd looking, they're for milk from your mother. What's all the fuss about? In case you were wondering... that was Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) talking to William (Hugh Grant) the morning after they slept together. Notting Hill has been awhile. So have breasts. But not these features of the Woman and Child gallery at the Bangkok Arts and Culture Centre. They are fairly recent. Tacloban . It's where I spent two months of great adventure with college buddies at about the same age as the young adult artists in this video  We Are The World for Philippines ( Cover by Filipino Artsts ) This is the church where I served as piano accompanist for the 1990 summer student choir, and some of the services. According to reports it was filled with dead bodies when this shot was taken. Photo Courtesy: AUP Network on FB On Saturday, November 24th, Central World management (the former WTC Bangkok) lent space for a Haiyan fundraiser without charge. I'd like to commemorate the highlights:   One Voice: Help Haiyan Victims was a serendipity. Organizing events is something I had to pay money to study in grad school.
