Monday Mayhem follows

A friend celebrated an approaching change on her civil status Saturday night. When documents are sorted she will be officially single again. "Better get on with it," I thought. Down at Hard Rock I noticed for the first time a reference to Sinatra on Bon Jovi's It's My Life. I never really paid attention to this hit until I admitted I did relate with the message coming off the lyrics. My two left feet were exploiting the dance floor when this was played.

Q.1- Why does it seem that every TV station goes to commercial at the same time- when you are checking to see what's on the other channel? Financiers probably want it that way - commercials get about the same amount of exposure at similar times from viewers

Q.2- Should we spend all of our million dollar win right now or save it for a rainy day which may never happen? We should enjoy the money and at the same time set some aside for the rainy day which will most probably happen when you least expect it

Q.3- Is it really funny when people send in videos to TV shows of themselves getting hurt in order to win the TV shows funniest video award? Are these videos even funny to you? No. Getting hurt is no justification for a video award. It's not funny to me. It is sad.

Now. When I'm old I'd like to be as calm as this grandpa in the face of silliness. If I could pull this off I'd laugh my way back to my rocking chair.

    I don't really like prank shows, but I love Tosh.0. He makes fun of YouTube videos. It's part America's Funniest and part Jackass. Funny stuff! You can watch it on-line at Comedy Central.

    oH My total favorite song ever! Luv Bon Jovi, but this song is the best. I have it on my phone for ringtone. Great idea throwing a funny in there. LOL Thanks for playing along, and hope to see you next week too!

    Wishing your friend all the best on her new start. I think having good friends like you will help get her through. This is a beautiful song to get us energized. I share all of your thoughts on Monday Mayhem, though I must admit that I do laugh on some silliness from time to time. Have a blessed day.

What spirit is so empty and blind that it cannot recognize the fact that the foot is more noble than the shoe, and skin more beautiful than the garment with which it is clothed? - Michelangelo  Why is the Mom in this family picture smiling? Oh, I know. The Dad is wearing shoes. Old Photo Album But my mother was also smiling in our family photo. All three of us look about the same age as this family. Mama said she explicitly told Papa that day long ago that we would sit for a family portrait so we were to don something formal. But lo and behold Papa came in flip flops! Mama wasn't very happy about it. She still placed our picture neatly in the family album though. Family is family, slippers or stilettos. What is unknown to me, besides the identity of this family, is how Father (rest in peace, Pap) ended up in the photo studio wearing slippers when he wore shoes virtually all the time.
