I'd like to commemorate the highlights: One Voice: Help Haiyan Victims was a serendipity. Organizing events is something I had to pay money to study in grad school. Pumpkin and lemons can be grown in Texas - I wish we could grow mangoes - so delicious and one of my favorite fruits!!

How fun! I love mangoes the best (and I cut them just that way) but I also do love those tangy carambolas, which are very hard to get in Seattle, but my mom used to live in south Florida, a semi-tropical climate, and she grew them in her yard. Those and bananas are all I know. Yum!
