Park day

Age or science is backing up my aching heels - from 3 inches virtually 24/7 at work down to a couple of cms, tendons had to be on adjust mode while I traipsed a huge park with CJ, fulfilling my promise that I'd give him Disneyland for his 6th birthday.

So I attempted a Mommy-made up version of Winnie the Pooh's Blustery Day while relaxing tired muscles. I didn't realize how much fun a day out could be...

especially if you didn't have to worry about humidity.

  10. right choice of words, age and science. Gone are the days when I wear those high heels and "terno" bags. Worse is my knees.

Disneyland is always a favorite place for the old and young. I bet CJ (if bold enough) he would be on all the rides! Nice mommy moments photos.

P.S. Have not updated my blog tending to a sick cat. Hope to be back on line in the next couple of days or maybe earlier.

They're just breasts

What is it about men and nudity? Particularly breasts... How can you be so interested in them? I mean seriously: they're just breasts. Every second person has them. They're odd looking, they're for milk from your mother. What's all the fuss about? In case you were wondering... that was Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) talking to William (Hugh Grant) the morning after they slept together. Notting Hill has been awhile. So have breasts. But not these features of the Woman and Child gallery at the Bangkok Arts and Culture Centre. They are fairly recent. Unknown reasons

What spirit is so empty and blind that it cannot recognize the fact that the foot is more noble than the shoe, and skin more beautiful than the garment with which it is clothed? - Michelangelo  Why is the Mom in this family picture smiling? Oh, I know. The Dad is wearing shoes. Old Photo Album But my mother was also smiling in our family photo. All three of us look about the same age as this family. Mama said she explicitly told Papa that day long ago that we would sit for a family portrait so we were to don something formal. But lo and behold Papa came in flip flops! Mama wasn't very happy about it. She still placed our picture neatly in the family album though. Family is family, slippers or stilettos. What is unknown to me, besides the identity of this family, is how Father (rest in peace, Pap) ended up in the photo studio wearing slippers when he wore shoes virtually all the time. In fact we only saw him wearing slippers during his retirement. Ah well, so much for shoes. I have ...
